Durante la segunda sesi\u00f3n ordinaria de la Comisi\u00f3n Permanente, la legisladora Lupita Cuamatzi Aguayo, present\u00f3 la iniciativa con proyecto de decreto por el que se busca reconocer al municipio de Contla de Juan Cuamatzi como \u00abPrecursor de la Revoluci\u00f3n Mexicana\u00bb y se declare capital del Estado por un d\u00eda, el 26 de mayo de cada a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Durante su lectura, la congresista destac\u00f3 que Contla de Juan Cuamatzi fue el municipio donde se gest\u00f3 el primer movimiento armado de la Revoluci\u00f3n Mexicana, que permiti\u00f3 dar patria y libertad a los mexicanos y fue donde sent\u00f3 las bases del Estado social y constitucional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Asimismo, puntualiz\u00f3 que uno de los grandes hombres originarios de esta poblaci\u00f3n fue el General Juan Cuamatzi L\u00f3pez, cuyas ideas revolucionarias tuvieron decisiva influencia por las condiciones de pobreza econ\u00f3mica imperantes, y por las ideas de los hermanos Serd\u00e1n, asistiendo a sus reuniones donde discut\u00edan y apoyaban las propuestas maderistas antireeleccionistas y luchaban contra el r\u00e9gimen opresor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
De acuerdo a distintos acervos bibliogr\u00e1ficos, en los que se reconoce la gran participaci\u00f3n que tuvo el Estado de Tlaxcala en el movimiento revolucionario, tambi\u00e9n se destaca que \u00abllegado el momento, Cuamatzi se lanz\u00f3 a la Revoluci\u00f3n con el valor y decisi\u00f3n de los indios de su raza, el 26 de mayo de 1910, antes que ning\u00fan otro en la Rep\u00fablica\u00bb, en palabras de Cuellar Abaroa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En total reconocimiento de la valent\u00eda de Juan Cuamatzi, as\u00ed como la relevancia que tuvo Contla en la Revoluci\u00f3n Mexicana, y con el firme compromiso de conocer y reconocer el devenir hist\u00f3rico de Tlaxcala, de las comunidades y de los hombres y mujeres que han forjado la historia, la diputada Lupita Cuamatzi Aguayo propuso declarar al municipio de Contla de Juan Cuamatzi \u00abPrecursor de la Revoluci\u00f3n Mexicana\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
De igual forma, se declare al municipio \u00abCapital del Estado de Tlaxcala\u00bb, el d\u00eda 26 de mayo de cada a\u00f1o, en conmemoraci\u00f3n del inicio del levantamiento armado de la Revoluci\u00f3n Mexicana, con lo que se propone se efectu\u00e9 el traslado de poderes a este Municipio, en dicha fecha.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
