En la d\u00e9cima tercera sesi\u00f3n ordinaria de la LXV Legislatura del Congreso del Estado de Tlaxcala, la diputada Lorena Ruiz Garc\u00eda, present\u00f3 la Iniciativa con Proyecto de Decreto para reformar y adicionar diversas disposiciones del C\u00f3digo Penal y de la Ley de Salud del Estado de Tlaxcala, con el objetivo de fortalecer el marco normativo en materia de derechos reproductivos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Durante la exposici\u00f3n de motivos, la diputada subray\u00f3 la responsabilidad del Congreso para legislar en favor de los derechos humanos de las mujeres, haciendo \u00e9nfasis en la necesidad de garantizar el acceso seguro y legal al aborto. En su intervenci\u00f3n, resalt\u00f3 que la equidad y justicia social requieren la eliminaci\u00f3n de obst\u00e1culos que limitan el ejercicio pleno de los derechos reproductivos de las mujeres en Tlaxcala y a nivel nacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ruiz Garc\u00eda aclar\u00f3 que la despenalizaci\u00f3n del aborto no debe interpretarse como una promoci\u00f3n del mismo, sino como el reconocimiento del derecho de las mujeres a decidir sobre su maternidad. Asimismo, destac\u00f3 la importancia de asegurar que quienes opten por interrumpir un embarazo no deseado reciban atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica oportuna y adecuada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La iniciativa propone modificaciones a los art\u00edculos 241, 242 y 243, en sus p\u00e1rrafos primero y segundo, as\u00ed como a las fracciones IV y V del C\u00f3digo Penal del Estado.
