Diputadas y diputados aprobaron por unanimidad el Dictamen de la iniciativa popular presentada por la diputada Laura Yamili Flores Lozano, que busca inscribir con letras doradas en los muros de la sala de sesiones del Congreso el nombre de Tecuelhuetzin Xicoht\u00e9ncatl, una mujer tlaxcalteca emblem\u00e1tica, s\u00edmbolo de resistencia y liderazgo, hija del tlatoani Xicoht\u00e9ncatl el Huehue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La propuesta, impulsada por el Grupo Cultural Tizatl\u00e1n \u00abTercer Se\u00f1or\u00edo\u00bb, tiene como objetivo rendir homenaje a una figura hist\u00f3rica poco visibilizada. Conocida tambi\u00e9n como \u00abDo\u00f1a Luisa Xicoht\u00e9ncatl\u00bb, Tecuelhuetzin fue una l\u00edder destacada que gobern\u00f3, comand\u00f3 ej\u00e9rcitos y fortaleci\u00f3 la identidad tlaxcalteca, trascendiendo incluso las fronteras nacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Durante la sesi\u00f3n de la Comisi\u00f3n de Puntos Constitucionales, Gobernaci\u00f3n y Justicia y Asuntos Pol\u00edticos, Flores Lozano agradeci\u00f3 el respaldo un\u00e1nime de sus compa\u00f1eras y compa\u00f1eros legisladores, destacando que este reconocimiento representa un acto de justicia hist\u00f3rica y una forma de reivindicar el papel de esta ilustre mujer en la historia de Tlaxcala.
