Firefly Symposium 2025), en el que participaron 200 especialistas de 30 pa\u00edses de Am\u00e9rica, Asia, Europa y Ocean\u00eda, bajo la organizaci\u00f3n de la Facultad de Agrobiolog\u00eda de la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Tlaxcala (UATx) y la Red Internacional de Observadores de Luci\u00e9rnagas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Del 27 de julio al 1 de agosto, la Aut\u00f3noma de Tlaxcala fue la primera Universidad de Am\u00e9rica Latina en ser sede del encuentro internacional en el que convergieron el conocimiento y experticia de especialistas, asociaciones civiles y organismos de conservaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La UATx fue elegida por las investigaciones que se realizan en torno a estos insectos del bosque a cargo de un grupo de investigadores que lidera la Doctora Sandra Garc\u00eda de Jes\u00fas, quienes desarrollan metodolog\u00edas de estudio en todos los aspectos, principalmente, en la estimaci\u00f3n de los tama\u00f1os de las poblaciones de luci\u00e9rnagas \u00fatiles para hacer sostenible su manejo, a lo que se suman los municipios de Nanacamilpa y Calpulalpan, considerados como dos grandes zonas de avistamiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los integrantes del Cuerpo Acad\u00e9mico de Estudios de Sistemas Naturales y Artificiales de la Facultad de Agrobiolog\u00eda emitieron un agradecimiento a cada participante por encender nuevos caminos para la
