En sesi\u00f3n ordinaria de la LXV Legislatura del Congreso del Estado de Tlaxcala, la diputada Soraya Noemi Bocardo Phillips present\u00f3 la Iniciativa para reformar la Ley de Bienestar Animal para el Estado de Tlaxcala, con el prop\u00f3sito de fortalecer la protecci\u00f3n jur\u00eddica de los animales como seres sintientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La propuesta plantea incorporar el principio \u00abpro animal\u00bb, establecer la progresividad en la protecci\u00f3n de sus derechos y reconocer la figura del \u00abanimal comunitario\u00bb, adem\u00e1s de transformar las atribuciones de las autoridades en obligaciones legales exigibles. Asimismo, se busca prohibir pr\u00e1cticas de sacrificio sistem\u00e1tico como m\u00e9todo de control poblacional y priorizar acciones de esterilizaci\u00f3n, vacunaci\u00f3n, rescate y adopci\u00f3n responsable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La Iniciativa tambi\u00e9n establece que los municipios deber\u00e1n contar con Centros de Atenci\u00f3n Canina y Felina que operen bajo criterios t\u00e9cnicos, cient\u00edficos y \u00e9ticos, y que las autoridades act\u00faen de manera inmediata ante denuncias de maltrato o crueldad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
