Kenia L\u00f3pez Garc\u00eda de Santa Mar\u00eda Atlihuetzia y F\u00e1tima Rub\u00ed Cant\u00fa de San Benito Xaltocan, se agenciaron el segundo lugar de sus pruebas de los mil y tres mil metros planos, respectivamente, en la carrera atl\u00e9tica por el D\u00eda Internacional de la Mujer.
\u00abHay que seguir entrenando para que Yauhquemehcan ocupe los sitios de honor\u00bb, expres\u00f3 la velocista F\u00e1tima Rub\u00ed, al cruzar entre aplausos la meta.

A las 09:45 horas, Jos\u00e9 Alfredo Campech P\u00e9rez, del Instituto Municipal de Cultura F\u00edsica y Deporte, orden\u00f3 el silbatazo de salida de las 79 competidoras, frente a la presidencia municipal de Yauhquemehcan.
En el evento femenil particip\u00f3 Sarah\u00ed Carmona, cuarta regidora del Ayuntamiento Adem\u00e1s, personal de la Coordinaci\u00f3n de Salud, del Instituto Municipal de la Mujer, de la direcci\u00f3n de Seguridad P\u00fablica, Protecci\u00f3n Civil y de Log\u00edstica.
