Poco despu\u00e9s de las 13 horas, personal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil municipal junto con Seguridad P\u00fablica activaron de inmediato los protocolos de seguridad y vigilancia a fin de constatar que no hubiera personas lesionadas o afectaciones a los inmuebles p\u00fablicos, mercados, plazas comerciales, centros de trabajo, escuelas y lugares donde se concentra mucha gente. Es de mencionar que este d\u00eda por la ma\u00f1ana, se llev\u00f3 a cabo el Simulacro Nacional 2022, donde el Ayuntamiento de Chiautempan particip\u00f3 activamente en este ejercicio de prevenci\u00f3n y gracias a ello, es que la ciudadan\u00eda tuvo la facilidad de actuar con responsabilidad y calma ante el temblor de esta tarde, que tuvo, seg\u00fan las autoridades federales, una magnitud de 7.7 grados en la escala de Richter. Asimismo, en las instalaciones de la Direcci\u00f3n de la Polic\u00eda Municipal, el Presidente Municipal Gustavo Jimenez Romero encabez\u00f3 encabez\u00f3 una ceremonia conmemorativa en memoria de las v\u00edctimas de los sismos de 1985 y 2017.Ante este escenario, Jim\u00e9nez Romero llama a la poblaci\u00f3n a no bajar la guardia, mantenerse alertas y estar informados s\u00f3lo a trav\u00e9s de canales oficiales y a no esparcir rumores, ya que luego de un movimiento como el de hoy, se prev\u00e9n r\u00e9plicas durante todo el d\u00eda.
